Terms & Conditions

Please review these terms and conditions before booking your next trip with us.

At The Chic Traveling Nomad, we want to make sure that we deliver the best service to you. To do this, we have some terms and conditions that we ask all clients to review before booking a trip. Please note that our retainer and booking fees are non-refundable. These fees are charged up front before any research for your trip has begun/before the trips are booked. Depending on the scope of your customized trip/additional locations added to the research, additional fees may apply. We will work with you to determine the best package that suits your needs and fits within your budget.

Booking Information and Itinerary Accuracy

Once your itinerary is confirmed, it is important to double check the spelling of names, dates of birth, passport number, passport expiration/passport information, and verify dates of travel on your itinerary. Any changes made after booking will incur a correction fee. We do not take responsibility for inaccurate information provided once services are booked.

Passport, Visas, and Identification Cards

Before packing your bags and heading out to your dream destination, make sure you have all the necessary travel documents. It's important to take note that all travelers are responsible for securing the appropriate passports, visas, and/or identification cards needed for their specific destination. Travelers must also check with the appropriate consulate for each country to ensure they meet all the required visa and passport requirements. Additionally, passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of departure. To avoid any unnecessary stress or hassle during your travels, we highly recommend securing your passports, visas, and/or identification cards before your trip. Failure to secure the correct documentation may prevent you from boarding your flight or entering the country, resulting in forfeiting the cost of your trip. At The Chic Traveling Nomad, we provide information on what documents are required for your destination, but we do not take responsibility for ensuring you have the correct documents.

*We recommend you make a copy of your passport in case you lose your physical passport and to bring your passport when traveling.

TSA Guidelines and Flight Changes

When it comes to flights, preparation is key. Be sure to check your flight status and any updates or changes to your flight number prior to departure. It's also important to check in for your flight and arrive at the airport with plenty of time to spare, especially during peak travel times when lines at TSA can be long. While airlines may occasionally reschedule or cancel flights, it is your responsibility to stay updated and work with them to arrange alternative travel plans. You must also make your own arrangements as necessary in case any flight delays/cancelations happen.

Please keep in mind that it is crucial to follow all TSA regulations, as well as any other airport regulations for international countries. To make your travel experience as smooth as possible, we recommend familiarizing yourself with these regulations before your departure. For more information, please visit the TSA government website (https://www.tsa.gov/).
